Buyer Note

Kurita-yaki (also written Kurita yaki) is a branch of Kyo-yaki (Kyoto ware) rooted in the Awata district tradition. Ninsei style is characterized by refined overglaze enamel decoration. Tomobako is the original wooden storage box made to accompany the piece.

Authenticity Note

Ninsei style refers to the aesthetic influence of Nonomura Ninsei and is not a claim of original Ninsei authorship. Kiln attribution is based on the original listing and accompanying information leaflet.

Care Note

Hand wash only. Do not soak. Dry thoroughly after use to protect the crackle glaze and wooden box.

Condition: UNUSED VINTAGE

Notes:
Excellent vintage condition. The bowl appears unused with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Hand-painted colors are vibrant. The wooden tomobako box shows natural aging but is structurally sound.
