Vintage Japanese Mahjong set made in Japan, featuring bamboo-back resin tiles in the smaller Japanese standard size (26 x 19 x 16mm). Comes with point sticks, dice, and a portable blue velvet case. The tiles are in excellent condition; the case shows natural aging with scratches and dirt consistent with long storage.

Japanese Mahjong tiles are smaller than Chinese standard: Japanese tiles measure 26 x 19 x 16mm versus Chinese tiles at 32 x 24 x 16mm. This set follows Japanese (riichi) Mahjong format with 136 tiles.
