This vintage Kutani porcelain sake bottle is hand-painted with traditional figures in landscapes, rendered in iron red and gilt in the Satsuma overglaze style. The narrow-neck tokkuri form works equally well for serving sake or as a display piece. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and no major chips or cracks.

Authenticity Note

Base bears a red mark reading Kutani Nishino, indicating hand decoration in a traditional Kutani style. Fully handmade and hand-painted Old Kutani Yaki style porcelain.
