Showa-era Japanese Mahjong set with 144 bamboo back tiles (Take-hai) and a portable wooden case retaining its original ISY gold foil label. The case shows a nicely kept yearly patina. Tiles are standard Japanese size (26 x 19 x 16mm), smaller than Chinese standard.
