Handcrafted Japanese pottery vase in Ninsei style, signed by Miyaji Eiko. Natural crazing has developed over decades of careful keeping, adding character to the glaze. Comes with a signed wooden co-box and ships from the US.

Buyer Note

Mizusashi are traditional Japanese water containers used in the tea ceremony to hold fresh water. This piece also functions as an Ikebana vase. Ninsei style refers to the decorative pottery tradition associated with Kyoto ware.

Authenticity Note

Signed by potter Miyaji Eiko. Comes with a signed wooden co-box. This is a Ninsei-style piece, not an original work by the historical Edo-period master Nonomura Ninsei.

Care Note

Hand wash only with mild soap and cool water. Do not soak. Dry thoroughly before storage.
