Handmade vintage Bizen Yaki unglazed stoneware Ikebana vase from the 1970s to 1980s, with a potter's signature on the base. The natural wood-fired surface shows the rustic, wabi-sabi character typical of authentic Bizen ware from Okayama Prefecture. Comes with the original wood box and yellow stamped cloth.

Buyer Note

Bizen Yaki (Bizen ware) is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, produced in Okayama Prefecture. It is fired without glaze, giving each piece a unique rustic surface shaped by the kiln's natural atmosphere. No two pieces are identical.

Care Note

Unglazed stoneware is porous. Wipe clean with a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid soaking or prolonged water contact. Not dishwasher safe.
