Bizen ware is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, produced in Bizen, Okayama Prefecture. It is fired without glaze, giving each piece a unique rustic character shaped by the kiln's fire markings. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold, treating the repair as part of the object's history rather than hiding it.

Authenticity Note
