A substantial vintage Japanese cast metal okimono depicting a Noh dancer or high-ranking court noble in a dynamic kneeling pose with wide outstretched sleeves. The flowing gown is heavily embossed with phoenix motifs, floral family crests, and geometric designs, finished in a rich antique bronze coloring. Original accessories (fan and possibly a mask) are missing; the metalwork itself is in excellent shape with a beautiful aged patina and no chips or cracks.
