Showa-era Japanese mahjong set with 144 resin tiles and yellow bamboo-style backs. Housed in a rare teal green woven-pattern vinyl case. Includes dice, betting sticks (Tenbo), and an orange leather South wind marker.

Japanese mahjong tiles are smaller than Chinese mahjong tiles. This set uses standard vintage Japanese size (26 x 19 x 16 mm) versus Chinese standard (32 x 24 x 16 mm). Please confirm compatibility with your ruleset before ordering.

Care Note

Wipe tiles with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid submerging. Metal hardware shows existing oxidation; keep dry to prevent further rust.

Vintage used condition. Tiles: clean and in excellent playable condition, paint is sharp. Case: exterior vinyl shows age; metal handle and latches show rust/oxidation consistent with vintage use; case is structurally sound.
