Meiji period Kutani Shoza-style porcelain tea bowl featuring dense Akae (red) overglaze decoration and Kinrande (gold brocade) gilding with hand-painted landscape and floral panels. The interior has a distinctive indented lip, and the base bears a Shoza mark. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks.
