Authentic Nanbu Tekki tetsubin handcrafted in Japan with a pine tree and farmhouse pattern. Holds 350ml (12oz) and includes a tea infuser. Great vintage condition with natural aging signs on the infuser and edge. No chips or cracks.

Nanbu Tekki (also spelled Nambu Tekki) is a traditional Japanese cast iron craft originating in Iwate Prefecture. These teapots are prized for their heat retention and handcrafted motifs. This pattern is no longer in production.

Authenticity Note

Maker stamp present on bottom of teapot. Identified as Nanbu Tekki (Nambu Ironware) from Japan.

Care Note

Do not use soap inside the pot. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly after each use to prevent rust. Do not leave water sitting inside.
