Collection: Hagiware
Hagi ware, or Hagi Yaki (萩焼), is a revered form of Japanese pottery produced primarily in the city of Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Unlike highly decorated porcelains, Hagi ware champions the philosophy of wabi-sabi, remaining remarkably simple to allow the raw, natural features of the clay to speak for themselves.
